Question What course should I take for furniture making?
I'd like to learn how to make furnitures like sofa, cabinets. Is interior design the right course for that? If not, what course should I take. It sounds like a vocational course, but I hope you can tell me a professional course related to that. thanks.
Best Answer a strongly related area to that would be 'woodworking' _the stuff you said is advanced so perhaps 'advanced woodworking'

does anyone know a site where i can search or a good training program that works??!!?!? my dog is not behaving anymore and i need to have a professional help thanks
Best Answer Another vote for the APDT. You really don't want some person who just hangs up a sign that says, "Hey! I'm a dog trainer!" to train your dog. You do want a professional who actively seeks to use kind, clear, and positive methods. It's been proven many times over that bullying and intimidation does not work to teach a dog - hire a clicker trainer and learn how to work with your dog. Your dog will thank you. **** edit : I think that observing a class at Petco or Petsmart will help. Go without your dog and practice as though you were working with your dog - I know, weird - but doing this can get you started at home.

Question the CNN TV news proadcast is belong to south american accent ?
the CNN TV news proadcast is belong to south american accent ? and the speed of broadcasting is the same as native american's daily conversation speed ? how much people in american using the accent ? and the accent is originated from what people and geographically where ? and the accent is belong to native american ? the political and commercial accent is using their accent or north american accent ? 10 minutes ago - 3 days left to answer.
Best Answer Since CNN is a US company, most news reporters that work for them have a North American (US and Canada) accent. Some American-born English speakers speak faster than CNN broadcasters, and some speak slower. It depends on the person and the area of the country that they live in. Most American-born people speak English with a North American accent. American English has roots in British English, but has changed throughout the years to include several sub-dialects. The official language of most countries in South America is Spanish, not English. In the SOUTHERN U.S., on the other hand, people do speak English. This accent is not very common in National and International news broadcasts.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING -- Link to Part 2: youtube.com A brief, interesting clip from National Geographic's "Ape Genius" documentary, comparing how a chimpanzee learns when compared with human children. An experiment conducted at St Andrews University revealed that while children tried to tackle a puzzle without trying to analyze it, chimps of the same age used logic and managed to solve it This test shows that the human child, even when given tasks that obviously have no meaning, follows the instructions given to them by the perceived authority figure, whereas the chimpanzees are more pragmatic, and exclude the extraneous steps. I feel that this is a good example of why it is important to raise children to believe as many true things and disregard as many false things as possible. Children are our shared future, and teaching them to think critically and rationally, so they can grow up to be mindful, effective adults that use reason to help build a better world is vitally important. Article from the Sunday Times: "Young chimps make chumps of children" www.timesonline.co.uk NOTE: This is a dramatic reenactment of an experiment for a TV documentary. The actual experiment criteria: ** The children used ranged from 41-59 months. ** The chimps used ranged from 2-6 yo Chimps mature at 13-14 for females, 15-16 for males. ** The box always contains a sticker. When the child gets the sticker, they trade that in for a food reward. ** The child is instructed to get the ...

Question Learning...?
Okay, I love learning things (I'm 15, and have a good knowledge of mathematics including calculus, and also know quite a bit about physics) Lately though, I get distracted easily and can get bored with what I am doing. Any suggestions for concentration/motivation/ect.. This has nothing to do with school, and it is not anything that I need to learn, this is just stuff I do occasionally on my free time. I think cutey_kira might be right :-\
Best Answer David La Pierre i think that you are geting distracted because there might be something/someone on ur mind and if it is the case you need to discuss the matter with either the person or a close friend so that you can resolve your problem. Cutey_kira Also david if you want to chat with me you can (Cutey_kira@yahoo.com - irresistible_olivia@hotmail.com)

Question learning?!?
is there another way of learning but also having fun at the same time ?
Best Answer Absolutely! Actually there is lots of research to support that children learn more through play. The Early Learning Goals (Foundation Stage curriculum) is based very much on learning through play and exploration. The idea is that if you provide a stimulating environment the children will learn at their own pace. Bombarding children with lots of information doesn't mean they will take any in. It's good to intervene whilst their playing and ask them questions which encourage them to think, but it's clear that very young children don't learn as much when they are sat down being 'taught'. Even older children are more likely to remember things if they had fun doin it, or if they had a practical lesson say outdoors than copying work from a board/text book.
